Vincennes Township Fire Department hosted a mutual aid ice rescue training tonight. Members used ice rescue suits, and rescue sleds to simulate rescuing a victim that has fallen through the lake ice. Members of the Indiana State Police water rescue team, Vincennes City Fire, and Washington Township Fire also participated in training tonight.

In addition to tonight’s training, several members of our dive team recently completed mutual aid dive training with Indiana State Police dive team.
