Vincennes Townships Drone program was recently requested by two agencies, first was to look for an individual and while the drone was being launched and the drone operator began the search pattern the subject was located by support staff on the ground. Second was for a missing individual in one of our mutual aid departments district but the individual was located and responders were disregarded. All full time firefighters have completed phase one of training and are currently training in flight operations, Deputy Chief King also continues to train volunteer officers and part-time workers to build the number of members capable of operating as pilots.
