Vincennes Township Fire Department is currently in the process of launching a Drone program.  Deputy Chief King will be leading the training and development of the new drone services.  The drone will have the capability of FLIR camera which will be instrumental in locating lost or injured people who would be difficult to locate using traditional, ground-based search methods.  The drone will also have the ability to deploy items to people who may be in distress like a rescue rope, life jacket, etc.
